Brenda's Story

I hope old friends remember me as being someone they can/could confide in, with no fear of their secrets being told. Marriage and having a family was my biggest dream. I have 3 children, lol, they are almost as old as I am! My favorite way to relax is either taking long walks, or reading. I sometimes read 3 books at a time, a different one in each room of the house. You don't want to know the wildest thing I ever did in school. Believe me. I lived most of my life in Harford County, then Pennsylvania for 10 years, then Cecil County. I now live in Kokomo, Indiana. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is my best friend Debbie McLain (Kauffer). I miss her a great deal, and when some of our favorite music is on the radio, I always ask, "Deborah, where are you?" The teacher I would love to see most is Mr. Waseleski. I know he has passed on, but to me, he was the coolest adult I've ever known. A $100 million? nice home a beautiful car, and anything else that I wanted. To be truly happy, I would be here in Kokomo living a good life with my fiance' Robert. My current age is 59 (YIKRS!) When I was 12, I thought that I would NEVER be my parent's age. Of course, I was wrong. Fashion sense? I have not progressed beyond the 60's free radical style. I am most comfortable in jeans and a T shirt. In ten years, (actually 2) I hope to be a librarian, I am enrolled in Ivy Tech College here in Kokomo to acheive that goal. At my high school reunion, everyone would be surprised that I have AGED!! I certainly don't look like the girl in 10th grade anymore! My first job was with Westinghouse Defense Corp. I was there for 12 years. I was paid good money to input data information for the F16- F16I, and Stealth programs (war planes). All of us voted for Daddy Bush, knowing he was taking us to war in Saudi. Boom! after the war was over, we were all laid off!!! As for a hero, I belive with my whole heart in Jesus. That's all the hero I need. God bless you all! Brinda
