Brenda's Story
I guess that you have noticed that I am in the student list twice. That's because I am also on the Georgetown,Tx list. I went to school there during my 10th grade and before that I was in Laredo Tx for a year and ahalf. My Dad moved us alot because he was in the construction business... building big jobs.
I went to Scheh during my 6th grade year,remember Mrs. Leary? and then to Terrell Wells during my 7th and part of the 8th grade. Guess I really didn't get to grow up with alot of the students there at McCollum in my class. I really enjoyed being in chorus and also played on the volleyball team with some great gals. moved back his senior yr. in Feb. and I fell for him as soon as he walked into my typing class.
I graduated along with most of you, and a year later married my high school sweetheart, Steve Carlile. We moved to Kingsville Tx and perceded to put Steve through school at Texas A&I. We were only 19. We waited 7yrs. and then started our family and had 3 beautiful babies.They are living their own lives in Nashville TN and North Carolina. We go back to Texas to visit family a couple of times a year. I will always be a Texan!! Can't get it out of my blood. All of our "kids" were born in Kingsville Tx so that makes them native Texans as well.
Well, guess I should end this "book". I am hoping to hear from anyone, some old friends, if you remember me or Steve.
