Ralph Parton (class of '68) and I married a year after graduation and immediately started our family of two boys, Ralph Jr. and Christopher. Ralph was in the Marine Corps the first 12 yrs of our married life and we were stationed everywhere from S. Carolina to California with him serving two years in VietNam. He got out of the service in 1978, so we moved back to Knoxville, where we lived two yrs before his job transferred us to the Miami / Ft. Lauderdale area, where we both worked for Montgomery Ward at their Corporate Office for several yrs. We were in S. Florida for 11 yrs, where we owned two businesses and both 0ur sons graduated from high school. I became medically retired in 1984 and Ralph continued his education and earned his doctorate degree in business. We finally decided to move back home in 1991 and refuse to live anywhere else.
