Brenda's Story
Graduated from Holy Cross in 1974. Worked various places in Saskatoon, Edmonton and even Regina. Finally went into nursing at Kelsey and graduated in 1979. Married Murray Mills in 1980 (Kindersley farmer) and had two children (Brennen-1981) and Avery (1982). Divorced in 1989. Both my kids still live in Kindersley. Avery is married and has a 2 year old - Hunter (this grand-parenting thing is the best ever).
Completed BScN in 2001, MA in 2006 and just finishing MN. Should look at doing a PhD but getting tired with taking classes. Married Mark Phillips (Holy Cross Alum) in 1994 and divo...Expand for more
rced in 2007 (yikes-can't believe I belong to the DD Club). Currently living in Saskatoon (since 2003). Teaching nursing at SIAST (considered to be an adjunct professor of nursing with the U of Regina as they confer degree). How is it that 11 weeks of vacation is still not enough-don't think I could do a real job anymore.
Haven't been on the curling ice for years. Tried to curl in Nov 2007 and couldn't get out of the hack - Crap! Curling was the only thing I could do and now can't even do that! I've just reread what I have written and one thing it quite clear - I need to get a life.
