Brenda's Story
I hope old friends remember me as the quiet silent type. That has changed over the years. I am much more out spoken at times when it came to my previous work. I was a former Securtiy Guard/Security Screener. I worked alone as a Security Officer on the third shift and then I left there every morning and went to a Court House and worked five more hours as a Securtiy Screener. I loved my work and I really miss it. I was and still am interested in criminal law. I hope just because I can't do the hands on type Security work that I can continue in another field at some point. Such as Private Investigator or Crime Scene Investigation or the Forensic aspect of the Department of Criminal Justice. I am a person who seeks Justice for the Victims of Horrible Crimes. States Home Land Security Team. I like interesting fields of work in all these aresa, because everyday something new happens and this is no boring job but it certainly is dangerous work. I enjoy the challenge. I like to help people who have been wronged by the crooks out there. I hope everyone knows just because I'm for Justice I am still the same old me. I just don't like people to get hurt or taken advantage of.
I always wanted to be a I dont't know exactly then, but now I do. It is working in the criminal justice field when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a joke I guess. They believe that was for Men to do and the wormen to take care of the family and kids. idea. As it turns out, they were half way right and half way wrong. I just enjoy my Security work even though at times it did involve confrontations which were extremely dangerous since I did not carry a weapon..
