Brenda's Story

Life We moved to Inwood, West Virginia in Nov 07. I have been married 22 years. I have many blessings to be thankful for. I'm still married to my best friend. We have 2 great teenagers. Girl/Boy. 20 & 16. We are very active in our church and I work full time in a Preschool. I walk to work.I have traveled to California, Florida, Mississippi, Arizona, Minnesota, Michigan, Canada & Niagra Falls. I'm in good health. I'm thankful for everyday and count my blessings. School Mrs. Polachek my Science teacher.She didn't make me dissect anything.I was the one assigned to take notes.She was very helpful with my home work.She knew Science wasn't my favorite subject. I was also fond of Mrs. Tuttle; my pom pom coach. Everyone loved her. I loved being in track, volleyball, and pom poms. I made many friendships through them. rade there. Jeff Selz drove me nuts on that trip! Class clown:)But, it was still fun. College I attended WCTC for 1 year and made many friendships. Went out and had lots of fun. I began working as a Preschool teacher while I was student teaching through WCTC. I've been a respite care worker as well and have enjoyed being a volunteer for handicapped children. Very rewarding. I settled down a lot after I got married and had kids. Made that my priority. Workplace I have many experiences and fond memories working with preschoolers. Quite a challenge that is. Very rewarding. It's been fun watching them grow. I had the same job for many years and was able to teach my past students children.I was able to take my own children to work with me free of charge, which was an added benefit. I homeschooled our children for 2 years. That was a great experience. I was aslo a respite care worker when I lived in Wi. A very rewarding job.
