Brenda's Story

College I returned to school after 30+ years and got my Associates Degree in Psychology from Volunteer State College in Livingston, TN. Life in General I was just recently widowed (August 1, 2008.) My husband Rex and I had been married 32 years but he had been sick a long time and it is a blessing he no longer has to suffer. I live in Allons, TN. My daughter, Cathryn and two grandchildren live nearby in Cookeville, TN. Her oldest just gradua...Expand for more
ted high school and is attending college in Fayetteville, NC. Her others are a freshman and 8th grader. My son, Jim and wife Joya also live in Cookeville, TN. Destin works for FedEx and the twins are In 6th grade. I have a dear step-son Bob and wife Krystal in Jamestown, NY and another step son, Jimmy here in Allons with 2 more grands. My step son John passed away last year. He left a granddaughter, Alisha in Iowa and a great-grandson, Zaxxaz.

So proud of my grandson, Nathan. Yesterday, he joined the Army (delayed entry program.) He will graduate from Cookeville High School in December and leave for basic training (Ft. Sill, OK) in January, 2019.
