Brenda's Story
Life
I graduated in the Class of 1980. I live in Northern Virginia and I love it. I have one daughter, Sara, and she is studying to be a flight nurse. I have 3 dogs and live on 3 acres so the dogs have plenty of room to run. I have recently changed job career's. I am currently working for the Police Department in the Criminal Investigation Unit. It is always busy, our detectives are so patient helping me understand each process of the judicial system.

I started running beginning at age 44. I ran my first 5K in December of 2006 and since then have run the Army 10 Miler, my first half marathon and am getting ready to run my 2nd Army 10 Miler in DC October 5, 2008. I also am cycling and thats alot of fun but had a few nasty falls. Who knew the right brake was the front one and would send you flying if hit too hard.... :) First war wounds at age 45. Yowser!!
