Brenda's Story
Hello, I am from the Class of 1966 and I have one daughter, one grandson and one granddaughter. I am still employed as a legal secretary in the District Attorney's Office. It is a great job and I love what I do. The people are great to work with and there is never a dull moment. I live in McCalla and my hobby is shopping, shopping and shopping. I love working in my yard and just being outdoors. And, I have to mention "Roofus" he is a daschund that I bought for my grandson and it was all he ever wanted until he discovered "girls" and well, that was the end ...Expand for more
of that. So, as you have probably guessed, yes, Roofus is now my dog but he does not know he is a dog. You would think that dog pays rent the way he acts. My daughter and granddaughter are in the same vicinity and I see them almost daily and my grandson has just moved to Tuscaloosa and started college. I am very thankful for my good health and feel blessed in every way.
No trophy-but I do have a "giant" gavel that is passed down every two years. It was my pleasure and honor to serve as the president of the Alabama District Attorney's Secretaries Association.
