Brenda's Story

I went to college in Iowa, florida, and finally finished for a while in Illinois. Then moved to Iowa, worked as a nurse, and eventually got married to a man from India. We lived in India on and off for the last 8 years, and now settling back down in Des Moines, Iowa. Just bought our first house 3 weeks ago. Going back to Hyderabad India to visit again in a couple of months, have family and great friends there. I work as a nurse and getting my degree in Business. I speak Hindi (Indian language) fluently. s most of the work to other translators around the globe. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have Diet Pepsi, lots of it, patience, and varying things to do to be able to deal with the day-to-day. If I won $100 million, I'd give part of it to my church and then college funds for neices and nephews, then spend the rest on travel, travel and more travel. Mugabe's opposition candidate is my hero. We look at politics and candidates so casually but then realize that other people in the work risk their life to run for office or even to vote to bring about change for the good of their country. They are the real heroes.
