Brenda's Story
After graduation, I went to FSU for a year (until I ran out of savings and scholarship money!). I came back to Hollywood for a year to earn more school funds, then returned to finish college at USF. I earned a degree in Specific Learning Disabilities there, and also met and married my first husband, Ed Cherry. We moved to Melbourne, FL where I had my first in a long line of teaching positions. My husband's job then took us to San Antonio, TX, where my son was born in 1986. In 1987, we moved back to Melbourne, FL for the next 10 years, where my daughter was born in 1991.

ars and then we relocated to Atlanta, GA. It was while living in Atlanta that I separated from my husband in 2006 and was officially divorced in 2007.
Sadly, in October of 2007, my 21 year old son, Matt, was murdered at the Gamestop where he was working.
I'm presently in Lady Lake, FL and working as a Resource Compliance Specialist for the school board of Marion County. My daughter is working and going to school in Atlanta. I moved to Ocala when I married Joe Netti from the class of 1972, but we divorced. I am finally very happily married to Russell Parisoe.
