Brenda's Story
After graduation, I worked for Southern Bell Telephone for a period of time. I met my husband through a friend, got married in February, 1965, moved to Indiana. I gave birth to my daughter in July, 1966. I worked for GTE for a period of time in 1967. I gave birth to my son in October 1968. Unfortunately the marriage did not last. ed and Sprint merged in the 1990's). I remarried in 1980 to a wonderful man and we will celebrate our 32nd anniversary in May, 2012. I have two granddaughters, the oldest is a freshman in college and the youngest in 11 years old...and I love them dearly! I have been retired for 8 years and love it. We travel to see our oldest granddaughter play soccer in college, plus we like to travel to different places to see the sights.
