Brenda's Story

Well, my story is not as interesting as a lot of our classmates, but it has definitely been a full and (for the most part) enjoyable life. After two divorces, I decided to forget it all and go back to my maiden name. I have one daughter and two grandsons, one 14 - the other 20. Both live with me to keep me young and active!! Forced into early retirement two days after turning 62, I have had a little over a year to play on the computer, do a little volunteer work for the Red Cross and start a small business from home. rs in my short life - 16 years at McLean Trucking Company before they went out of business, 11 years at Wachovia Bank, was displaced after 10 years, then again 10 months later. At that time, I ran into my old manager at McLean's and went to work for him. His business closed last year. I think I not only give up on marriage but also on careers! LOL Haven't moved far from my roots in Winston-Salem, only as far as the big Village of Tobaccoville - wide open spaces, yet convenient to 52. Enjoy life, everybody-it's the only one you'll have!
