Brenda's Story
I've been having a great time...I am a roller skating instructor with about 25 children I am currently coaching. I teach jumps, spins, choreograph routines and put together music for all of my skaters. I design and sew their skating costumes, too. I write poetry for greeting cards (like Blue Mountain Arts, DaySpring, etc.) and short story fiction and essays for magazines from home. I have four daughters...three are grown and married with children. My youngest daughter is 17 years old and is a multi-time National USA Roller Sports skating champion! ...Expand for more
She placed in the top two in junior world class ladies freestyle for me and made the world team three years in a row. We travelled to Taipei City, Taiwan .. Reus, Spain... She qualified for Columbia last year too but sadly we lost her father last year and I became a widow. So we did not attend worlds and she gave her spot to the 3rd place girl .... A good friend of ours. So it was all good. Things are getting better for both of us and we are surrounded with family and friends... I have taken my girls to West Tech numerous times.... Such great memories!
