Brendan's Story
Life
Let's start from college graduation. I received my degree in Music Education with a voice as my focus from Central Missouri State University. I taught at Bluejacket-Flint Elementary for a year in the Shawnee Mission School District. Than, I taught in KCK school district for a semester...bad situation. After giving teaching one more try I decided it wasn't for me. So, I went into the corporate world and working in mutual funds for DST for 3 years. Than, I got this wild idea to move to Milwaukee. I needed a change and still searching for what I really wanted to do with my life. So, I was a bartender and a painter as I presued acting on the side. Did that for a year and than moved back to KC. I got back into the investment field and worked for Scudder than I was laid off. So, I decided to work...Expand for more
overseas as a ESL teacher in South Korea. Great experience!! Now, this wasn't easy by no means but what I learned was increible. So, here I am going back to school again after 10 years and loving it. I going into Radiology and feel like this fits me well. Single? Yes, and I am glad....lots of my firends are married and have kids, but I have seen many get divorced too. Do I have kids? Not yet...at least not that I know of. In time I think I will be married with kids....we will see. I live in KC now again. I hate the cold weather and I look forward to moving somewhere warm when school finishes. I talk to Lee Day at least once a month and he is doing good.
