Life My life has been filled with tremendous joy as I have been so blessed with a incredible wife and sons and a focus on family. On the professional side of life I have been priveledged with being a partner in three start-up companies. One of the companies consisted of a team that did software engineering/rocket design for Lockheed Martin in Denver Colorado. My previous position was the most challenging by far as the CEO of a dotcom. My role was to raise $8MM from wealthy individuals, politicians.... and to also develop partnerships with other strategic companies. We were honored to have individuals like Newt Gingrich as consultants and were very excited about our product until the dotcom market meltdown. Unfortunately, our software was not ready for release and we had to close down shop in 2001. However, our Harvard attorney President chose to work with our creditors and investors to restructure the company. He also funded the development and is getting ready to officially launch our solution in early 2008. He was able to fund the company because he and his wife are best selling authors and they have written several excellent books on marriage and relationships (Jeff and Shaunti Feldhahn). This experience resulted in my family loosing virtually everything (financially) and was another defining point in my life. Pain is a great teacher and we chose by God's grace to draw closer to Him through this difficult time. It was amazing to experience a deeper joy and peace in the middle of the storm than I could have imagined. I have said many times, I know why people turn to drugs, drinking and unfortunate lifestyles because it would be the only way to cope without the Lord in their lives. I also have said many times that even in the very difficult times - Bill Gates and Tiger Woods couldn't buy what I have and I wouldn't trade it for all their money and fame.
