Brent's Story
Life
After I graduated from Dutch Fork, I went to Coastal Carolina University. I met my future husband in Myrtle Beach and went, with him, to Boston when he accepted a job there. I couldn't take the cold weather, rude people and the SNOW, (3 Noreasters/Blizzards in the one winter I was there) so Victor, my husband, accepted a job with the Carolina Hurricanes, in Raleigh. We lived there for 2 1/2 years until the Hockey Lockout. For fear of losing his job, my husband started looking for other jobs and was offered a job in Jacksonville, FL. He works at Alltel Stadium as the Director of Concessions which includes the infamous BUDZONE, concession stands, Suites/Sky Boxes and Premium East Club. Manager for 4 1/2 years until last April 2005. I decided to leave Clinique and take a few months off. One month later, we found out I was pregnant, OOPS! I am now a Bank Manager. I love my job. I always thought I would be a stay-at-home mom, but when my maternity leave was up, I was ready to go back to work!! We now live in area called Fleming Island, about 15 miles south of Jacksonville. We love the area. The elementary and high school are within the confines of our neighborhood and the middle school is being built. Also, the grocery, drug stores, home-improvement store and anything else we need is one mile down the street. Outside of football season, we enjoy hanging out at the neighborhood pool, going to the beach and heading to my dad's, on the lake in Chapin, to go on his boat. Life is good!
