Brent's Story
Life
Where to start? I got beat and worn down by the constant "pop-ups" for "Classmates" and finally, well, I succumbed, I surrendered.
First off, I have to say that I dropped out of Beaverton my jr. year ( hope that doesn't disqualify me...) and I got my own place. Went on to Graduate U of O in '88 with a Film Degree. My first big break came working on the show Northern Exposure in Seattle. After that I moved all over the western US working on a variety of films, pilots, and television series. In '98 I was invited to join the Directors Guild in Los Angeles were I have spent the last 7 years working as an Assistant Director. I've worked on such shows as NYPD Blue, Ally McBeal, ER, Will and Grace and Yes, even Baywatch! I've also got to work with some fantastic actors and directors on some really great features. My life has been very blessed. Although I never did get married and have a family of my own. ( I came very close! ) I have enjoyed a great deal of what life has to offer.
I have missed living in Oregon and try to visit at least once a year. Lake Tahoe is a place that I have found that works as a good substitute and is close by. In my down time I like to visit with friends and travel. I also like to sail. I own a small boat in Marina Del Rey and I recently sailed a friends '36 ft. from Hawaii back here to California. I'm looking forward to another trip in May from Coasta Rica to San Francisco.
I think the only person that I still keep in touch with from Beaverton is Debbie Weingard. She has been married to a very good friend of mine for a long time now.
