Brent's Story
I've met lots of former friends and classmates who have always lived in or near P-Town or somewhere in Tidewater (pardon me, Hampton Roads). I left within a couple of weeks of graduation in 71' for Washington, DC and Broadcasting School. After a stint in the USAF, I managed to stay in radio and television until 1996 when I got a "real" job with a school system in the county I live in now (non-teaching administrative). Been married since July 75, with two kids and 3 gorgeous grand-babies, soon to be 5, 6 and 7. You may know my two older brothers Larry, class of 66' and Gerald, class of 68'. Cradock too. I've been lucky enough to have lived in lots of places including San Antonio, TX, Denver CO, Las Vegas, Bethesda, MD and spent nearly 10 years in Springfield, MO, not to mention VA and NC. Lost my southern accent many, many years ago (broadcasting school) but am still 100% southern. It has been wonderful catching up with all my friends from so many moons ago. WWHS stills hold so many of us together despite the fact it was only four years out of our entire life (in my case only 6.89655%). Take care everyone...I'd love to hear from you and really hope to attend the 40th reunion of the class of 1970 in 2010 and the class of 1971 in 2011. I belong to both classes (Long story...I turned 18 in Dec. 1969...so figure it out!). Brent
