Brent's Story
Since high school, I've had a ton of adventures. I initially swam for Missouri State for four years and got degrees in Philosophy and Poli sci. After that, I
went to Grad school at Virginia Tech to study Ancient Greek history and philosophy and added some other language studies.
I then moved to Moscow for a couple of years to study language and civil law. My son was born there in 1996. While I was in Moscow, I met Yeltsin and Gorbachev and even had dinner with Pres. Clinton. I toured all over Eastern Europe as well.
After that I returned to law school at OU where I specialized in petroleum and international law. Weeeee.
I then got a job with a British law firm working in Moscow and in Kazakhstan for almost 3 years. I decided to be my own boss, so I moved to Chicago and opened my own law firm specializing in immigration and international law. I'm online, so you can find my website first thing if you Google my name.
I also keep very active in sports, especially swimming and running. I was named Chicag...Expand for more
o Athlete of the Year for 2004 and Coach of the Year (for swimming) for 2005. I do marathons now in unique locations, including Las vegas, Deadwood, SD, and many others.
Also since high school I have been working on several large writing projects (non-legal), including a series of young adult books that I am illustrating as well.
I have one son Nikita (12) who lives with his mother.

Some of the wilder adventures I've had include being mistakenly arrested in St.Petersburg, trying out for Survivor, participating in a naked group bike ride in downtown Chicago with 300 others, living on the beach in Helsinki, Finland, taking a cross-country solo jeep tour of the deserts of Central Asia, whitewater kayaking, and many others...
