Brett's Story
Life
Although I visit New Jersey from time to time,I really enjoy life here in Lancaster, PA. Things are a little simpler and less hectic here, but there are big cities within a three hour drive. With free time I love getting out on the bicycle and exploring the area. Have done many cycling tours out west in Oregon, and in the southwest. My other big hobby is writing music. I might get into music production in the future, but being a chef is what pays the bills & keeps me on my toes:).
College

eel things out before commiting to a specific career. Then the four year culinary apprenticeship in Lancaster. Other than that "the school of life" -always something to learn in the everyday scheme of things.
Workplace
Ten years ago I moved to Lancaster PA, and started a new career apprenticing at a Bistro for a highly acclaimed french chef. If you have ever seen Rocco's reality show "The Restaurant" it is really like that-a crazy business, but challenging and fun. Four years later I moved on to a large retirement community as one thier chefs and have been there ever since:)
