Brett's Story
Life
Did one year at the University of Colorado and found out I did not like what I was doing. Bummed around Boulder, CO for another year before going back to New York and then joined the Army.
I married to the former Christine Wood (class 1991) and we have four children, three boys and one girl. We call Clarksville, TN home as do my parents, now.
I am still a member of the United States Army where I am a Chinook helicopter pilot and hold the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 4. I have been on the 3rd world tour for the last 17 years and if you want to see where I have been look at the military bio
College
Well the first year of college was a disaster in terms of academics. I discovered that engineering was not my thing and that by going to a small rural school I was behind the curve when it came to science and math. Not a hit on my high school teachers but a product of circumstance with a poorly funded rural school.

ten joked that there were many people who went to college for 19 years; they are called professors. I am finally complete and one of my major goals of life is crossed off despite 6 deployments and working 12 hour days.
I am now working on my Masters degree in Aeronautical Science.
