Brian's Story
Life
Missed the last three months of school to move with family to a Winlock, WA. farm. and working at a local elementary school. Received AA and AS degrees from Centralia College in 1987. Then went to Gonzaga U. for BBA, graduated in 1989. Interned as stockbroker, went back for MBA at Western WA. U. in 1991. Paralegal degree from U. of WA. in 1995. Worked at "the firm" Perkins Coie LLP in Seattle for 12 yrs. Worked as an idependent contractor at Microsoft and Siemens for 10 years. Now just work as an independent contract worker for businesses. lot of drag racing in my 1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass and delivering the Napa Register newspaper to make money for engine repairs. I used to take bike rides all over the county. Used to cruise the strip downtown or make fun runs over the Oakville grade to Sonoma. Napa was just a sleepy little agricultural community then, not the tourist trap it is now. I remember people streaking through the local Denny's and two of the guys streaking through the campus on their motorcycles before getting some serious skin rash! The local FFA guys/gals picking apples in the orchard while drinking and racing the tractors plus a drunken rotten apple fight! Hanging out at Lake Berryessa! Nowadays we would all have police records and done jail time for our little fun!
