Brian's Story

Life I live in Pinon Hills California on 2.5 acres out in the Mojave desert with my wife Debbie (Brown) and my two children Jacob and Rachel, Jacob's son Joseph and my sister-in-law. My family is active in our local church- Cornerstone Baptist- where I lead the singing. We are also active in the music program at Victor Valley College Where I play flute and sing in the choir with my wife and son. Debbie is a librarian in Fontana, my son is being mister Mom to his son and pursuing a career in opera as a bassa profundo. My daughter is studying art at Platt College and planning to get a job in 3D animation- but currently is working part time at the library. I have a tractor collection- 2 IH TD-6 crawler tractors and an old IH 460 Utility backhoe. I am also resto...Expand for more
ring a 1971 2.5 ton 6x6 army truck. I built a large fish pond and a small forest around it- we used to live in Crestline and I miss the trees. My wife has a wood shop in the garage that she works in and I have a 40x40' shop that I fix cars and tractors in. When I retire in 4yrs, I want to move to somewhere green where I don't have to water the trees when I plant them. We have a dog, 3 cats, 4 chickens, a llama, an old nubian goat, and an eternal thanksgiving turkey (we got to liking him), and many fish. Workplace After a brief Air Force career, I worked as an auto mechanic, then as a gold assayer for 3yrs then back to mechanic when the gold market collapsed. In 1987 I got hired as a Wastewater Chemist with the City of Riverside where I am still employed.
