Life
For those who new me, I was the guy least likely to succeed, neither school or self-discipline was a priority. I joined the Army, became a paratrooper, went immediately to Vietnam and retired 35 years later in July 2000. In between, I spent a great deal of time jumping out of airplanes and continuing my education graduating from the University of Maryland. Married-1966, divorced-1980, remarried-1995, have 2 children, Son and daughter and a step-daughter and three step-sons, all are grown and gone "hurray". Far-East, Southwest Asia and throughout Europe and loved every minute. After retiring I continued my travels and worked Riga, Latvia for four years, as a Human Resource Management Consultant to the Ministry of Defense; Kabul, Afghanistan for a year and I am currently in Baghdad, Iraq in the International Zone (IZ/Green Zone) as a Deputy Program Manager. Sherry, my wife, and I have made our permanent residence in Fayetteville, NC. If anyone reading this knows the whereabouts of Richard "Rick" Werner, please let me know, he was my high school running partner.
