Brian's Story
I am an engineer who has worked the past 28 years on atrifical heart valves and left ventricular heart assist pumps. I live in sunny Southern California after graduating from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign Engineering BS. Completed MBA at Pepperdine University Malibu Ca. I am married have two sons. one is an ASU graduate and the other is figuring out life while helping at home with invalid mother-in-law. Life has been a Forest Gump road. I left P-Town for Ca. A great moment was being surrounded by the Washington Redskins in the 1982 Superbowl played at the Rosebowl when I snuck down on the field during pregame. iants sat three rows up behind Tommy LaSorta on third base lower side. Wife's cousin is married to John Robinson who coached USC and the LA Rams. Have worked with the world's greatest cardiovascular surgeons, Dr. Albert Starr and Dr. Alan Carpentier, Dr. Cosgrove and been taught by Nobel prize winners in physics and economics. I have learned that all of the famous people that you come across in life will never impact your life the same way or replace your old childhood friends. Life is like a box of chocolates, and I have ate a few too many with much gusto and zeal. Been to Europe for work and partied in the Muchen Haufbrahaus.
