Brian's Story
If you think war is bad, then move to another country; the U.S. was born from war. After I graduated high school I had no idea what I wanted to do, so I explored facets of life. I worked many different jobs, went to school taking all kinds of courses, traveled at times, and pursued spirituality/religion. I am still going to school and I still work. The legitimacy of the invasion of Iraq by the U.S. is debatable. However, we need to take responsibility of it and NOT abandon the Iraqi people. This is crucial to national security and to prevent larger long-term problems in the Middle East. I love to brew and drink beer. Mountain biking clears my mind and rejuvenates my body and spirit. I lived in Guatemala for a while, traveling and teaching English. The recent whiskey that I really like is Dewars 12yr. I traveled in Peru for a little while with Melissa. My goal in life is to experience all I can. I live in Utah; it sucks, so never move here! My girlfriend, Melissa, is awesome, smart, beautiful, and is studying Culinary Arts. She is good at it too! lly a war on personal freedoms. I like to fish but other interests have higher priority. Universal health care will destroy the quality of health care in the U.S. The solution for health care issues lies within innovation and responsibility, at least in part. I think I need to be be more politically active. I think our choices of the 2008 presidential candidates are weak. A good leader has solid virtuous character. I like to read, it expands my world and perceptions (are they the same thing?). I think a lot of people need to lighten up, live and let live, and keep in mind 'one love'. As long as you do not harm others then do your thing, and let me do my thing if I do not cause harm. Global warming still needs more data to be real science, and to know what is causing it and therefore what the solution is. Biofuels from food sources are not the answer (in fact cause larger problems). Death is not bad, it is inevitable. I love to be in the mountains when snow is coming down, no one is around, and the only sound you hear is the snow. There is more but I do not want to write any more right now.
