Brian's Story
Life
I live in Salt Lake City, UTAH. I met my wife on a blind date 5 years ago, and married Brooke shortly there-after. I now have 3 little boys. Boston Taylor (May 2000), Wyatt William (May 2002), Mason McGuire (Dec. 2004). 4 dogs - (2) shih-tzu's and ONE great dane, and ONE black lab. I work in the timeshare industry - so vacations have become a regular event. So much to see - so little time.
College
I graduated from Shippensburg, University in PA. Major was Speech Communication and a minor in ART. I played Football for 3 years there - and my senior year - played with the Chambersburg Cardinals - a semi-pro football team. I pleged Chi Gamma Iota, a local fraternity. Drank too much beer, got fat, married a cheerleader, got even fatter, got divorced after 8 months, ....and then lost that beer belly and got my life back into order. All in all - college was good to me.
Workplace
My first job ever was that run-down movie theater in Flemington New Jersey. I recently came home to visit - and it was even in worse shape than when I worked there. I can't believe people who still live in flemington would give that filthy theater 7.00 to sit in an uncomfo...Expand for more
rtable, oily chair with no surround sound. They make Gameboy's now with bigger screens than that hell hole of a theater. They need to bring back the ORIGINAL Movie theater where Flemington Coat factory no lives. That was the shit.
My next job was flipping burgers at McDonalds during college. Then I was lured to a job interview with Vector Marketing - selling Cutco knives. I actually did quite well with them and discovered Selling is my forte' - I finished 17th in the country in 1995 and then graduated college. I got hired into the pharmaceutical industry - working for a Johnson and Johnson company, Jansen Pharmaceutica. I worked for them for 6 years - and then....
Started selling Timeshare. Since its' 100% commission - there's lots of money to be made there... and a great way to take vacations. Last year, we took the kids to Hawaii for 10 days - and then spent Christmas in Cancun Mexico for 2 weeks. I understand where people got the saying - life is a beach. I can't get enough of the ocean.
So now I work for Marriott Vacation club - selling the Ski Mountain in Park City, UT - home of the olympics as well as the LARGEST snowboarding park in the USA.
