After high school, I went to tech school for residential electricity (electrician). Graduated 2nd in my class and found it so boring I wanted to cry. What a waste of time. I was working part time as a diesel mechanic and decided that was my true calling. I worked for a couple of years for one company in West Palm Beach. Then I got a job in Stuart. I worked there for 3 or 4 years then moved to another shop, back in Palm Beach, where I stayed for 10 years. During a trip, with my girlfriend, to the Smokey Mountains we stopped overnight in Lake City. In the morning, I found the small town very appealing. So I got a job with the local Caterpillar dealer, bought a home, and moved in 1999. I have been with Cat for 10 years now and have become a truck engine annalist, mentor, and instructor. I work with the latest technology in on highway diesel engines. I have also participated in programs for the development of three generations of diesel truck engines. After several interesting relationships, I meet and fell in love with my wife. Sandra and her two daughters are wonderful women. Sandra and I own two homes.
