Brian's Story

After I graduated from Woodlawn, I messed around for a few years before I got serious about my future. I joined the Louisiana National Guard in 1986 and graduated from LSU in 1990. While at LSU I mowed lawns and I eventually built a fairly large lawn/landscape management company. I met Lara, the love of my life, in 1988 and we got married in 1990. sition in the Louisiana National Guard. I have since relocated to Pineville, LA where we have a small farm (I've always liked growing things). I hope to eventually be relocated back to the Baton Rouge area so that we can build our retirement home on Lara's property in Denham Springs. I just recently completed a deployment to Afghanistan where I was injured when my vehicle struck an IED. I'm currently awaiting surgery to repair the damage to my shoulder.
