Brian's Story
Hmmm... After Jefferson I went to both Normandale and the University of North Dakota for a computer science degree.
I moved back to the twin cities and have been here ever since. I worked at Univac/Sperry/Unisys for 25+ years and volunteered for a layoff in 2007.
I then did contract IT work at Cargill for 16 months. Now I've been working for the State of Mn Office of Enterprise Technology since Jan 2009.
I'm married and have 3 great kids. One is out of college and married in 2009 and lives in Kansas City. One is at UMD majoring in chemical engineering. One ...Expand for more

My wife is a special-ed para in elementary school.
I keep busy with kids school events, etc. I have enjoyed hunting/fishing/outdoors over the years but don't seem to find as much time for it lately.
Any free time I have these days is spent on the web or making music on the... ukulele of all things, I've even built them from scratch (of which I'm quite proud), and do other woodworking. Thinking of trying my hand at guitar building too.
Anyone else doing anything crazy?
