Brian's Story
Very briefly, after LVHS, went to BYU, but only by the grace of Mr. Roley and Mr. Alleman, who, I suspect, took into consideration the personal tragedy I had experienced in my final year at LVHS and bent the curve they used to calculate our final grades in their classes. I ran out of GPA and money at BYU after only two years, came back to Las Vegas and worked at miscellaneous jobs for two years. Thanks to the start I got in Mr. Delzer's electronics class, when the draft came around I was found educated enough to get into the Air Force in the electronics field.
I stayed in the Air Force for eight years, then went to work in the civilian electronics field, eventually working with computers, an area that I remained in until I retired in 2010.

s I thought about my life and times with so many of you, some good times, some not so good, but they were our times and they should not be forgotten as they are a part of us.
I hope that those of you that remember me and wish to reconnect with me will do so. I have much to say to many of you. I honestly do not expect a lot of you to remember me as I was not particularly outstanding in most respects, and I was very shy. But I got better.
If you cannot write to me, or simply chose not to, know that those I loved, I love you still. To those I did not love, all is forgiven, and I wish you well.
To paraphrase the Bard, "Forever and forever farewell, dear friend. If we do meet again, we shall smile, if not, this parting was well made."
Your friend, Brian Sherrett
