Brian's Story
Here's a brief update of what's new and not so new.
After graduation from St. Bernard High School, I received a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. I then headed South to Charlottesville, VA where I received an M.D. from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. After UVA I moved to sunny San Diego, CA where I completed a residency in Anesthesiology. t doctoral fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia and a brief stay on as faculty. Then, it was back to the East Coast to join the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. I am currently an Assistant Professor and Attending Anesthesiologist at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Along the way I somehow managed to find time to get married and start a family.
