Brian's Story
In High School, some people may thought of me as being nurdy because I was pretty smart. I tried to combat that appearance with my Wrestling and I became pretty good at.
Went on to be a 4 year letterman at Purdue in Wrestling. My best moment came when I beat someone ranked 8th in the nation. He wasn't ranked after that. My first match as a freshman was against someone from the University of Cincinatti and I thought, oh, a somewhat small school. He beat me 7-4. I found out later that he placed 2nd in the NCAA the year before (the same tournament had the guy that placed 1st as well).
I graduated Purdue University with a B.S. in Computer Science. I then worked in Bloomington, MN ...Expand for more
for 3 years at Control Data Corporation. Then spent 22 years in Elkhart, IN at Miles Laboratories, Inc. which later became known as Bayer Corporation. The next 4 years (till present) I have spent in Fort Wayne at Logikos, Inc. (Bayer was moving my job to New York and wasn't going to increase our pay any for the higher cost of living). Logikos, Inc. is a software for hire company. Since working at Logikos, Inc. I have worked for ITT (satellite ground station software), Smith's Medical (infusion pump), Delphi Medical (infusion pump) - Delphi went bankrupt and sold to Moog, product finished for Moog Medical Devices. I also worked on a Mining Asset/People Tracking system for Logikos.
