Brian's Story
Life
I am a divorced father of 2 incredible boys, 10 & 14. I am VERY involved in their lives and activities. Although I am not the custodial parent, I have purchased a home in their neighborhood just to be close to them. Our children are the reason we are here.
School
I had a few crushes throughout my school years...A.K, K.V are the first to come to mind. I'd have to say there were three teacher's who I respected and who inspired me in their own ways: 6th grade was my english teacher - Mr. Heffernan. I think it was 7th grade at "Pennbrook" where science teacher Mr. Aiken taught me a lot and seemed to respect me for who I was back then. Then there was Mr. Lassen. 10th grade english. also in the car)...TAKE NOTHING FOR GRANTED!!!! When people ask me about my School Daze, The first thing that comes to mind is my 6th grade suspension.
College
I was neither inclined nor afforded the opportunity to attend college back then. I did eventually put myself through school to earn an associates degree and graduated #1 in my class...I would still like to further that education into engineering...perhaps after my children have graduated????
Workplace
I am currently in a job I love. If you don't love your job, find one that suits you - trust me. I am a contractor for the United States Air Force (I am not military) repairing any and all "land vehicles" owned/operated by the Air Force in Willow Grove. Runway clearing snowblowers (3 stories high), police cars, 6,000 gallon jet fuel trucks, and NUMEROUS vehicles I can't even describe. I hope we never close!
