Life Man, it's been a long time since high school. After graduation, I went to Texas A&M for MIS. My second year I joined an Airborne Special Operations unit of the Army Reserve. Soon after I spent some time at the JFK Special Warfare Center and a year and a half learning Arabic in Monterey, CA. A month before the course's end, the Sep. 11th attacks happened, I graduated early, was sent to Airborne school, and deployed to Afghanistan with the 3rd Special Forces Group. I spent a year there, came home for about a year, then deployed to Iraq. They were great experiences, but really prolonged my graduation from A&M. During this period, I did some teaching in Germany and Egypt and went to some more Army schools (Pathfinder, Squad Designated Marksman Instructor, Blackwater, and Jumpmaster). I finally graduated in 2005, moved to Austin for one last summer of fun, then took a job at the US Army Intelligence Center in AZ teaching Middle East Cultural Awareness.
