Brian's Story
After APHS, I spent the next six years getting a four year degree at Eastern Michigan - some guys are just slow I guess. Shortly after that I moved to Boulder, Colorado and got a banking gig. After 12 years there, we got a little crazy and moved to Ft.Myers, Florida. It didn't take us long to realize we weren't Florida people - great place to visit but its not for everyone. After searching for a couple of years and trying to get back to Michigan, we made it half way back when another banking opportunity came about in North Carolina. After 10 years there, we got back to Michigan - Flint to be exact. Great working man community, and the location fit our lifestyle. e Farm Bank in Bloomington, Illinois in 2003. Yes, I have the old license plates from all of those states - if you collect plates, I'll send you a few.
In 2007 we bought a small plot of land in Battle Creek, built a log home there in 2008, and some day we'll get a road sign put up. Until then, living incognito has its benefits. I am looking forward to retiring soon, maybe in a couple of years...... In the meantime, I commute on weekends to see my lovely bride of almost 30 years. No kids but always a couple of cats around and plenty of nephews to spoil. I hope this quick read finds you doing well and enjoying life!!
