Brian's Story
Life
Well, there's not much to tell right now. I'm 4 months away
from graduating from UW with a major in Communications. Between
being a full-time student and having a full-time job, there is
not a lot of free time. My main activity outside of work and
school is attending Sonics games. I've had season tickets for
the past five seasons, and going to all the games allows me to
relax, unwind, and forget about everything else for a 2 1/2
hours. Even with my busy schedule I can always find time to
hang out if the right person is asking.
Once I get my degree, I'm going all out to get a better job and
leave my current jo...Expand for more
b of over 7 years, working in the music dept
at Circuit City in Southcenter. Music is a hobbby of mine,
so in that respect I enjoy my job, and I enjoy the people I
work with, but the rest of it is no fun at all. Retail can
just suck the life out of you if you stay in it too long.
Workplace
The best thing I can say about my job is that it will good on
my resume that I've held the same job for over 7 years. And
I've gotten a lot of free CD's out of it. I've also met a lot
of good people at Circuit City over the years. It's too bad
I've lost track of most of them because they moved on to bigger
and much better things.
