Life
Who knew?
My politics and life outlook have done a 180º since high school. Not surprisingly, I've become an elementary school music teacher and free-lance cellist. A few years ago I bought a house with my partner - and thanks to the Massachusetts Supreme Court I was able to marry him. This July we are celebrating two anniversaries: 23 years together and 5 legal!
Another who knew? Anyone who knew me way back when would I agree I was a total non-jock. Last July (07) I entered an all-natural (that's no drugs, NOT nude!!) body-building competition and took second place in the 40+ category. Surprised even myself!
Workplace

ool music for 26 years now. Along the way I've had additional jobs (summers, weekends) working with developmentally disabled adults and as a free-lance cellist... both of which have influenced the way I interact with children. I can't imagine doing anything else with my time; I enjoy learning about how children think and finding new ways to encourage and challenge them... and I get to do all sorts of crazy things to motivate them! Talents rarely used at work? What a question - teaching requires them all!
August 09 update: have been enrolled in massage therapy school, will be licensed next March. Karmic payback for having been a pain in the neck in high school?
