Brian's Story

Life After high school, I headed off to the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. I played football and volleyball there. Football team beat Cal in the Aloha Bowl back in 1996. I ended up grabbing my bachelor's in Ocean Physics and somehow managed a minor in Spanish, too. Harbor for my first boat, USS Columbus (SSN 762.) Driving her was a blast and I completed 2 WestPac deployments while assigned there. Just before the last deployment I met my wife, Danielle. I chased her to NY when my tour on the boat was up. I'm currently an instructor at the US Merchant Marine Academy and I'm going to NYU part-time for my MBA. We're got married in August, 2004.
