Well, I set off for Reed College in Portland in the Fall of 1980 and came away with a degree in chemistry four years later and got married. After working for nearly three years, I went back to school. Had a daughter in 1987 and obtained a doctorate degree in chemistry from the Oregon Graduate Institute in 1990.
