Life
Well, It's almost July 2007 and life is GOOD! We have settled in the new house. Mostly. I have a few stray boxes laying around that I still need to unpack. But as they say... if it's been packed for this long and you haven't missed it... so be it. My kids are LOVING country life! We have a beautiful creek bubbling at the end of our property. They find wild bunnies, froggies and fireflies. It's so much fun! Steve is working as a sub-contractor for the cable company and putting in 60-70 hours a week. It's draining on him, but the $$$ is good. My mom is coming in 2 weeks. I HOPE she like the area and wants to move here. The kids miss her. Even though Tampa isn't close to Ft Lauderdale, it's a hell of a lot closer than NC! I recently re-connected with my BFF from highschool, Gina, who is a BSO officer now. Sh...Expand for more
e might be moving up here too. I love it! EVERYONE should move to NC! LOL - not really, but life up here is soooo much better!
Wow, life is a whirlwind lately! My husband accepted a job offer in NC 2 months ago and moved up there to start work. The kids and I have been busy fixing up our home and getting it ready to sell. Guess what? 8 days on the market and it's sold! We close 4/18/07 and have a contract pending on a house up in NC. It will be soooo nice to get out of FL finally. We're buying a 3400 sq ft 5/3 home on 1.75 acres for $35k LESS then we sold the condo for! Finally the kids will have a huge yard to play in and I will have some space in the house to do my eBay. I can't wait to see Steve again, I miss him so much. Two months as a single parent to 2 pre-schoolers is more than enough, thankyouverymuch!
