Brinson Jordan:

CLASS OF 1974
Winter haven, FL

Brinson's Story

Life I miss everyone I was close to in high school. My relationship with Jesus Christ, developed in high school, has strengthened over the years. However, I would not say I'm puritanical (indulging in an adult beverage occasionally and listening to classic rock - anybody remember Wishbone Ash?) and hopefully not judgmental toward anyone. I play guitar in the praise and worship team at my church in Palm Bay, FL. (BTW, does anybody remember Monty McCart - he also goes to my church.) My wife Pam and I have 4 children, 3 girls and a boy. Occasionally, 2 of my girls (they have amazing harmonies!) and I will sing special music at church. After graduating, I went to a 2-year tech school in Tampa to learn electronics. In June 1976, I was hired by Collins Avionics (now Rockwell...Expand for more
Collins) in Melbourne, FL as an electronic technician. I moved into Quality Assurance some years later, then on to Technical Publications as a Tech Writer. I am still there today. In Jan '78, I basically started college from scratch, took classes here and there and finally got a bachelor's degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1990. While all that was going on, I met a sweet girl named Pam. We dated for a year and got married in 1981. I still enjoy watching NFL, do a bit of canoeing, and hone my skills at song writing. We just made two land purchases, 5 ac. in TN and 10 ac. in Malabar (which is close to where I live in West Melbourne). Hope to have a cabin in TN and a new home in FL soon! Hope I did not bore anyone! Maybe I'll see ya at the reunion! Brinson
