Brion's Story
Wow, What has happened in 30 years. I can tell you how to gain 30 pounds to the mid section, cover up a little hair loss, stay married for 21 years and have 2 kids. Other than that enjoying life with my wife and kids. Work my back side off during the week and burn both ends of the candle (wink wink) on the weekends. Spend lots of time watching my son play Ice hockey and my daughter play club softball. I have learned its not always about me. :) Yes we have our ups and downs but would not change any of it as it has made me the man I am. I do wish I would not have spent most of of time in the parking lot or 75th street but I learned from that too. My brother Rick is going to law school (a little late huh) but trying to do things right. Derek my little brother is over in Iraq taking sand samples. LOL I am not sure what he is doing over there. I am still an appraiser after 25 years and whats really funny is I can count on 1 hand home many SHS alum's houses I have appraised. Downloaded those classic rock songs from the 70's onto an IPOD and show my kids what music was like in the good old days. Fought with technology and my kids about cell phones. ld my kids we didnt have phones but knew when to be home and not be late. Pagers came later on in life. Whatever happened to being home when the street lights came on or calling your friends parents Mr & Mrs ..... I am now called Dude, Kodys Dad, B, and Im sure other names when my kids are mad at me. But you know what Life is still good. When God lets me wake up in the morning I thank him and go about trying to make someone elses day a little better. Hope this helps you learn a little more about me and my past 30 years. Looking forward to seeing as many people as I can come October.

PS: Funny story I'll make it short. Went to the hospital thought I was having a heart attack. Great news it was not a heart attack but just stress. More great news. The Doctor told me I had the heart and lungs of a Marathon runner. I told him I run to my car when I am late in the morning. I should probably thank all that hippie lettuce I smoked in the parking lot and 75th street that expanded my lungs and made them work so good. I quit smoking 09-01-2009. Dont want to press my luck and come up with whammies.
