Brittany's Story
Life
After a year of study at Universite de Paris IV, I graduated from Tulane University with honors in May 2002 with 2 BAs in French and in History. I left New Orleans to go to graduate school in Austin at the University of Texas. I completed my masters degree in French literature in 2004.
I met my husband, Jason, in 1999 when he came down to Tulane from West Point to watch the Tulane/Army game. He...Expand for more
proposed in 2002, and a few months later in January 2003 we eloped before he went to Iraq for a year. We finally celebrated with a wedding when he returned home safely in the summer of 2004. We now make our home in Fort Hood, Texas, where Jason is a captain in the 4th Infantry Divisions of the US Army, and I am a professor at two local colleges.
