Brooke's Story
I moved back to Thornton about 8 years ago and live about 5 minutes from the house I grew up in (which my father is living in). I have 5 children. My daughter Meagan is 23 and she has two kids of her own. My step-daughter Denee' is 19 and living with her mom right now. My son Stephen is 18 and attending CSU. battled breast cancer last year and now am in remission. I am an IT service shift lead for Hewlett-Packard and work 3-4 days per week. My other half Joe is a supervisor for a security company 4 days per week. I literally almost died having the baby, so between that and the cancer last year I have realized how short life is and am looking forward to reconnecting with people I have lost touch with.
