Bruce's Story
Life
Since graduating from CoKane High,er,I mean Paul Kane Highschool, back in 83, I began a journey into music and entertainment.Eventualy moving to Vancouver in early 89.I played in Cast of Shadows, which featured 2 other Paul Kane alumnis, Mike Upright and Al Alford. We performed for many years, grinding out funky grooves and classic rock inspired originals and played in some of the most legendary clubs and rooms like the Town Pump and The Commodore and festivals around BC until calling it quits in 95.I continued the pursuit and became a session Bass player for a Vancouver studio and played in several local bands while holding down a full time job with the BC Liqour Board and bought a small recording studio in the late 90's.I then began to write music and soundtrack pieces for a project that would eventualy be called SPOOKHAUS.

I am single, live in downtown Vancouver, on the edge of Gastown and continue to work at my present job for the BCLDB. I have not been back to St Albert for 20 years, but would some day love to return,. maybe run into an old friend or two and revisit some of my favorite Party spots...and of course Paul Kane HS and see if Ol man Mckinstry is still around, or Wiltshire,...Mrs.Berry,Mrs. Chapelsky,Mr. Gouchey, how bout ol Fred Ressler?and one of my favorite teachers Shiela Jenson, my drama teacher, what an inspiration!..so many others, its been so long and I'm afraid all that pot smoking has clouded my memory and I can't remember names,oh well, maybe when I return it will all come back to me!
