Bruce's Story
I always wanted to be a mountie when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a crazy idea. As it turns out, they were right.
I love to camp & hike... I camp twice a year in nahatlatch valley, just north west of boston bar
The wildest thing I ever did at school, was going on a field trip to Victoria for a economics class, and missing the ferry
home because 5 classmates and myself, were drinking at a bar, instead of visiting a museum.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a coffee, a muffin, and a newspaper to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
my hero in life will always be Terry Fox.. What an inspiration he had of trying to raise money, for a disease we thought only attacked the older people in life, when we were young.
I currently live in Coquitlam since 1982.. I have always previously lived in Burnaby, except for a year 1971-72 in Prince George
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is old classmates, because we will help bring back old memories.
I am a sports junkie.. anything on the tv, especially Hockey and Football... I also love watching life science shows
My biggest surprise in life, was working in manufacturing in the 70's, breaking my back in a work related accident thinking that my future business life had passed me by, only to find out that working in sales for the manufacturing company was my calling. Sales opened me ...Expand for more
up to opening up my own company, which I still run today.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my basement and add on a bar. My dream home would be a home in point roberts.
I am a parent of three children, who have made me more patient in life, and let me enjoy the special moments that happen when your kids are young
I would love to see again Mr. Nozella counceller at Royal oak,, and Mr. Richardson, the PE teacher at Royal oak school.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 1/2 of it to my kids, then spend the rest on travelling, a cottage in Point Roberts and a 28 foot boat.
My current age is 58. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be old. I was so completely wrong.
My best friend would tell you I'm reserved, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as unhibited.
One of the weirdest jobs I ever had, was I was a Turkey inseminator.. I would fill female Turkeys ( using turkey basters ) with turkey semin, for 8 hours a day... what a job
In 10 years, I hope to be retired. I'm going to get there by selling my business.
One of my oldest friends is Keith Hobbs, I met him in grade 3, and we chummed together for 6 years, before he went to Mcpherson school in grade 8, and I went to Royal oak
My first job was at a turkey farm, where I got paid $1.50 per hour to inseminate turkeys. What I remember most about it is a dirty stinky job.
