Life

My life turned upside down for a while after graduation. My mom decided to sell the big victorian homestead on South Mountain Avenue and moved to Chapel Hill. That was a difficult adjustment and was first major breakage with my past. There would be several others. The good that came out of it was getting a job playing percussion with the NC Symphony for a while then finally deciding to go to college, ending up at Rice University in Houston.
After Rice joined IBM, got married, and the series of moves and dislocations continued. From Houston to Dallas, then 3 years later to New York for 3 years. Then back to Dallas again for three years, and then finally to Potomac Maryland in 1994 where I've finally been able to put down some proverbial roots. y single since Dec 2004. In November 2005 got a call to help put together our next high school reunion, and that has been an interesting journey. The Reunion is scheduled for July 21-23 in Montclair.
