I taught tennis full time for about 20 years and am now teaching part time in Montgomery County. I've been in wireless telecom for about 14 years now in sales and management roles. I'm currently living in Gaithersburg and working in Reston for a national carrier. I have 2 daughters ages 19 and 17, and celebrated my 23rd anniversary June 2009.
2018- I'm now teaching tennis again full-time in Bethesda and my 2 daughters have left Maryland and moved to Southern California. I'm not sure if I'm sad because they're gone or happy because I now need to visit SoCal semi-regularly. Enjoying teaching tennis again rather than putting on a suit everyday and dealing with quotas and corporate issues. I expect to do it as long as my body holds out, Man o...Expand for more
h man it seems to get slower by the minute, but I can still do it at 1/2 speed................ well, maybe 1/4 speed. Anyway it beats the alternative.
2019- I felt that I was semi-retired before, but now I am the General Manager and Tennis Professional at a Swim and Tennis Club in Potomac. I'm not sure how that happened as I was quite content before. Anyway that's what I'm doing now and it has been quite a bit of work. Still teaching, knees going, head mushy,hair leaving, what's left graying. In contact with a couple of folks from way back, even from elementary school. Would like to move to SoCal, but have to wait for my wife to want it also. Oh well, teaching tennis and running a club in Maryland are not the worst things I could be doing. Hope all who read this are well. Everyone else too.
